- Pink Floyd Wish You Were Here (50th Anniversary) from £15.99
- 12 December: Pink Floyd’s iconic album Wish You Were Here, featuring ‘Shine on You Crazy Diamond’, the hypnotic ‘Welcome to the Machine’, the scathing ‘Have a Cigar’ and the essential title track, is undoubtedly one of the most important albums in the history of popular music. This special edition allows fans, for the first time, to delve deeper into a pivotal moment in Pink Floyd’s history with a wealth of studio rarities including previously unreleased alternate versions and demos.

- Babyshambles Down in Albion (20th Anniversary) from £53.99
- 12 December: Produced by The Clash’s Mick Jones and even boasting a vocal cameo from Kate Moss, Down in Albion evokes the sights and smells of its era while possessing a forward-looking perspective to create a perpetually relevant body of work that both charts and soothes the human condition. Accompanying the album’s original 16 tracks, this edition includes five carefully chosen songs from Babyshambles’ archives, with several – despite bootleg fame amongst the band’s fanbase – getting their first official release.

- Blur The Great Escape (30th Anniversary) from £39.99
- 12 December: 1995’s The Great Escape features the hit singles ‘Country House’, ‘The Universal’, ‘Stereotypes’ and ‘Charmless Man’. The album was Blur’s follow-up to their global breakthrough album, Parklife, which charted at no. 1, selling over 120,000 copies in its first week and going on to achieve triple platinum status in the UK (nearly a million sales to date).

- Geese Getting Killed from £26.99
- 12 December: Geese recorded their third album, Getting Killed, in ten fast-paced days. With scant time for overdubbing, what emerged is a chaotic comedy, shambolic in structure but passionately performed, informed by an exacting vision. Big riffs are layered on choir samples; hissing drum machines pulse softly behind screeching guitars. Geese balance a disarming tenderness with an intensified anger, trading their love of classic rock for a disdain for music itself.

- 19 December: IDLES and acclaimed director Darren Aronofsky (Requiem for a Dream, The Wrestler, Black Swan) quickly formed a creative kinship, united by a deep mutual respect for each other’s work. When Aronofsky began developing his latest film, Caught Stealing, he turned to his favourite band to shape the film’s sonic identity. IDLES recorded the full film score, drawing inspiration from the gritty energy of the 1990s New York punk scene that permeates the film, including four original tracks.
- Arca @@@@@ from £29.99
- 12 December: Arca’s iconic @@@@@ mixtape – the scorching of earth that preceded the launch of her critically lauded Kick series – finally gets a limited-edition first-ever physical release. Delivering 62 minutes of quantum states, this is some of her most delicate and astonishing work to date: hard, soft, emotional, brutal, sincere and playful.

- Depeche Mode Memento Mori: Mexico City from £19.99
- Memento Mori: Mexico City is over two hours of live recordings from Depeche Mode’s three sold-out concerts at Mexico City’s Foro Sol Stadium in September 2023, plus four previously unreleased studio recordings from the Memento Mori sessions.
- The CD + Blu-ray bundle adds a video of the live shows and the new feature film ‘Depeche Mode: M’, filmed at the Foro Sol shows by award-winning Mexican filmmaker Fernando Frías.

- Jacob Collier The Light for Days from £14.99
- Jacob Collier follows the kaleidoscopic ambition of Djesse Vol. 4 with The Light for Days – a stripped-back, emotionally resonant body of work that is reflective of the quiet core of his artistry. Recorded in just four days in the very room where his career first took flight, the album trades scale for intimacy, spotlighting Jacob’s unmistakable voice and a deepening relationship with the guitar. - Live from Glastonbury (A BBC Recording) encompasses Olivia Rodrigo’s entire set from last year’s festival – including tracks from her record-breaking albums Sour and Guts, as well as duets of ‘Friday I’m in Love’ and ‘Just Like Heaven’ with the Cure’s Robert Smith.

- Beans on Toast Kill Them with Kindness from £13.99
- Kill Them with Kindness, the 18th album from Beans on Toast, was recorded with The Beans on Toast Band, a collection of musical friends handpicked from the UK music scene a few years back. “We’ve done a few tours together, but this was our first venture into a studio. Each one of them is amazing, and together … well, I’m proper chuffed with how it sounds,” says Beans. There are songs that deal with the current state of the world: wars, maniac leaders, the rise of AI and the fall of the establishment. Then there are songs about trees, late nights in music venues, art, love and Beans’ new cat.
- Fuzz Lightyear Zero Guilt from £21.99
- Born from the raw, deafening sounds of basement jams and scrappy house shows, Leeds four-piece Fuzz Lightyear are consistently trying to be the loudest and fastest band around. Channelling the DIY ethos that birthed them, their focus remains on sustained experimentation, community and uninhibited rock’n’roll. New album Zero Guilt showcases their chaotic and impressive blend of shoegaze, industrial noise-rock and fast-paced punk.
- Khruangbin The Universe Smiles upon You ii from £12.99
- Khruangbin have re-recorded their beloved debut album, which has become a cult classic. The Universe Smiles upon You ii reinvents the familiar songs, recorded in the same family barn where TUSUY was first conceived ten years earlier. Though the conditions were the same – dirt floor, brutally cold, minimal sound isolation, all takes live – the songs aren’t. They’ve re-approached them, some changed more than others, harnessing the lightning-in-a-bottle energy of TUSUY while discovering what would be unique this time around, in this stage of the band’s life. The result moves like ripples on the water across ten hypnotic tracks.

- Widely acclaimed as not just the greatest live heavy metal album of all time but one of the most iconic live releases in any musical genre, Live After Death was recorded during Iron Maiden’s performances at Los Angeles’ Long Beach Arena in March 1985 and Hammersmith Odeon in October 1984. The deluxe 40th anniversary edition contains two 140g colour LPs (one blue, the other yellow) featuring the 2015 audio remastering and is packaged in the original gatefold artwork.
- The package also includes a replica 24-page World Slavery Tour programme, bringing to life the original programme for a new generation, and a replica tour pass plus a glossy 12-page booklet, which expands the original booklet with a brand-new exclusive essay entitled ‘Rime and Punishment: Celebrating 40 Years of Live After Death’, where Iron Maiden fan-club editor Alexander Milas interviews Steve Harris, Nicko McBrain, Rod Smallwood and acclaimed illustrator Derek Riggs about the legendary album.

- Papir IX from £17.99
- Copenhagen’s foremost aural travellers, Papir, conjure vast and melodic soundscapes using only guitar, bass and drums. One of the most unique bands in the modern European psych rock scene, they continue to innovate as they refine their sound with each album. IX is a wide-open record in every sense, from the flowing compositions – which linger but never overstay, jam and unfold organically – to the wonderful airy production. Terms like post-rock, ambient rock, psychedelia and krautrock may circle their sound, but none quite capture its shimmering, elusive magic.
- Quatermass III Quatermass III from £15.99
- Quatermass III was born from the people who brought you World of Twist, Earl Brutus and The Dials, the British Experimental Rocket Group and Science Monthly. The album’s first single, ‘Room at the Top’ is inspired by the JG Ballard short story ‘Billenium’ (1962), a bleak dystopian narrative that explores the oppression of urban spaces, dodgy rented property and overpopulation. Nothing bleak about this track though, it belts out its intentions with bubble vox, soaring guitars and Devil’s Interval chord changes. It’ll blow your bloody doors off.
- The Saints Long March Through the Jazz Age from £15.99
- Long March Through the Jazz Age is the final album by The Saints. It’s a moving farewell and a testament to Chris Bailey: a restless, uncompromising artist who always moved forward, one of rock’s great lyricists and iconoclasts. Recorded in late 2018 by Bailey and long-time Saints drummer Pete Wilkinson with a handpicked ensemble of Sydney’s most exciting young horn, string and keyboard players, it grew into a deeply human snapshot of modern times. The album marks the end of Chris Bailey and The Saints’ remarkable journey over five decades of music-making and rule-defying.

- In 1975, Neil Young released Tonight’s the Night, widely regarded as one of the masterpieces in his catalogue. The album was recorded in 1973, following the major success of Harvest, but was not released for two years. The 50th anniversary deluxe limited edition includes 6 bonus tracks along with an unreleased original version of ‘Lookout Joe’ recorded during the original 1973 album sessions at S.I.R. in Los Angeles, which replaces the version recorded at Young’s Broken Arrow Studio that was included on the original album.

- Ozzy Osbourne, Billy Morrison and Steve Stevens delivered the two instant classics that appear on this amazing double A-side picture disc vinyl release: the smash hit ‘Crack Cocaine’ that reached #1 on the Mediabase Active Rock Chart and #2 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Chart; and Gods of Rock n Roll, the Top Ten hit on both charts that saw Ozzy, Billy and Steve do it again with a 57-piece orchestra in what is being hailed as Ozzy’s farewell.

- Bryony Purdue Dripfeed from £29.99
- After more than a decade of international touring and nearly three years since she recorded it, critically acclaimed Scottish-born artist Bryony Purdue unveils her debut album, Dripfeed – a stunning 15-year musical distillation that transforms personal trespasses into transcendent art. The self-released, self-produced album melds ’70s pop, trip-hop and progressive rock in a hypnotic exploration of recovery and resilience. Bryony’s distinctive approach incorporates live strings, chromatic harmonica, analogue synths and reverberating acoustic textures to create what she describes as “the liminal space between genres”.
- On 22 May 2023, 47 years after their birth, Def Leppard returned to their home city, Sheffield, to perform their second-ever stadium concert at Bramall Lane. This monumental homecoming show that kicked off their European tour was sold out, performed to a roaring crowd of almost 40,000 fans. The set includes classics such as ‘Photograph’ and ‘Pour Some Sugar on Me’ as well as UK live debuts of ‘Take What You Want’ and ‘This Guitar’, the latter dedicated to the band’s late great guitarist Steve Clark.

- Supernature, originally released in 2005, was Goldfrapp’s era-defining masterpiece, a multi-layered sonic-pop thriller that shattered the electronic rulebook, replacing it with a radical, high-gloss vision of pop music at its most seductive and strange. The album catapulted Goldfrapp into the pop stratosphere, spawning now-classic singles like ‘Ooh La La’, ‘Number 1’ and ‘Ride a White Horse’. The album topped charts worldwide, earned multi-platinum sales and garnered multiple Brit and Grammy nominations.

- Taylor Acorn Poster Child from £14.99
- Taylor Acorn’s career breakthrough came when she bonded with producer Dan Swank over their mutual love of early-2000s pop-punk. If 2024’s Survival in Motion was her introduction to the world, Poster Child shows that she is here to stay. “When people listen to this album I just want them to feel like they’re back in a time period that makes them feel good,” she says. That sense of optimism is evident from the infectious opener, ‘People Pleaser’, to the stripped-down outro of album closer ‘Masquerade’, which showcases the way Acorn is effortlessly able to express both power and vulnerability with her voice.

- Spock’s Beard The Archaeoptimist from £13.99
- If Spock’s Beard have taught us anything over their 30-plus years in the business, it’s that they have no interest in becoming their own tribute act. Their latest offering, The Archaeoptimist, is not a retreat into old habits but a recalibration. Just when you think they’re settling in, they kick the walls out instead. “Mad time signatures, impossible harmonies, intense arrangements … sensational.” (The Prog Report)

- Ahkatari Blood: Act I from £26.99
- 11 years after their debut, Ahkatari return with an album that is a both clear evolution in their journey and a distinct departure. Blood: Act I sees the Detroit duo double down on the grit and dive even deeper into the streets. Hugh Whitaker’s beats are grainy, layered and dusty, and his sample selection and ability to manipulate is as much a part of the storytelling as Ahk’s lyrics. Ahk’s vocals carry a real weight. He has impact. As they slide once again into the shadows, gone but not forgotten, one message is clear: Ahkatari will return. We just don’t know where or when.

- The debut album from AVTT/PTTN, a collaboration between The Avett Brothers and Mike Patton (Faith No More, Mr. Bungle), finds these three kindred spirits on equal footing as songwriters and collaborators, no one party seeming to hold greater creative influence over the other. Throughout the record, there’s an ease and musical seamlessness to how these first-time collaborators lock in with each other.
- Woman of Faces is the second studio album from Celeste. - Manchester indie-rock band Picture Parlour pull back the curtain on their highly anticipated debut album, The Parlour. - Midlake, a band beloved for their cinematic songwriting and atmospheric blend of folk, rock and psychedelia. - The Mountain Goats, led by singer-songwriter John Darnielle, have built a prolific and influential career since the early 1990s, earning a loyal following with their storytelling and literary lyricism. Through This Fire Across from Peter Balkan expands the band’s sound with lush orchestration and welcoming arrangements that stretch beyond their previous boundaries.
- On 15 April 2023, Gary Numan marked a monumental milestone in a lengthy career with his 1000th live performance, at The Electric Ballroom in London’s Camden Town. The show, the last of three sold-out gigs at the iconic venue, was a testament to Numan’s enduring influence and the unwavering devotion of his fans. The set list was a carefully curated journey through Numan’s extensive catalogue, a celebration of Gary Numan’s remarkable career and his profound impact on electronic music.
- Liquorice, the third album from Australian indie-pop artist Hatchie, is preoccupied with the finite forever. These songs capture the overwhelming, exhilarating and transformative side-effects of infatuation, even if the entirety of the love story only lasts for one magical night. Like the rich flavours of the titular foodstuff – sweet, salty, and bitter all in one bite – Liquorice validates how longing and obsession are intertwined in the self-discovery of young womanhood.
- There Is Beauty is a 40-minute suite of hypnotic and transcendent drum improvisations from genre-breaking drummer, producer and composer Sarathy Korwar. The music beats through a repetitive, circular structure that brings to mind Indian folk music, jazz drum ensembles and the minimalism of Terry Riley and Steve Reich. Korwar’s ensemble bubbles and flows through a stream of steady rhythm, forever in motion like the ceaseless energy of a river.
- Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party comes as the third batch of work released by Hayley Williams as a solo artist. The Covid-era saw her release two extraordinary albums: 2020’s Petals for Armor and 2021’s Flowers for Vases. Both albums were gorgeous and stark meditations on loss and offered up a contrast to the high-energy and up-tempo muscle she displays in Paramore. Pitchfork said of Flowers: “her voice is undoubtedly the standout feature … husky and gentle, dangerous yet warm,” and explained that the minimal production “makes this a purposeful reset.”
