Two Door Cinema Club have announced details of their third album. Gameshow follows 2012’s Beacon and their 2010 debut Tourist History, along with their Changing Of The Seasons EP in 2013.
The new LP was recorded in Los Angeles with Jacknife Lee (U2, R.E.M., Bloc Party), who also produced their last album.
Singer Alex Trimble says of the new album’s sound: “We’re not embracing the pop that’s going on now in a melodic or structural sense. The two biggest influences for me were Prince and Bowie – both total pioneers who straddled that line between out-there pop and avant garde craziness.”
