We’re all stocked up for tomorrow, with over 250 exclusive and highly limited Record Store Day releases in stock and ready for you.
Just a couple of reminders for those of you planning to come tomorrow:
If queueing’s not your thing I’d suggest turning up after midday – and don’t forget we have the exceptional Diana Jones playing live in store at 2.30pm.
If you’re attending your first RSD or just need a refresher for how we run it on the day, have a look here for some hints and tips.
There are very few releases on the 22nd April. I think the record companies believe that everyone will have spent their ££s on the Saturday, which isn’t true but there you go. There are three worthy new releases next week, however: Nocturnal Koreans, which is Wire at their uncompromising best, the latest album from Brooklyn power-pop troupe We Are Scientists, and a various artists compilation of the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards 2016, which represents an easy way to catch up with all those nominated for those awards and decide if you like ’em!
