Occasional member and songwriter with Duran Duran releases an album of material from 2011, unreleased until now. Guess you could say it’s all a ‘blur’ after this time. I’ve already got my coat.
Hard-Fi – Sweating Somebody Else’s Fever
First new album in 15 years from the indie rockers. I’m liking the three tracks currently available.
Pye Corner Audio – More Songs About the Sun
Excellent blissed-out electronic / guitar tunes, featuring appearances from Andy Bell (Ride, Oasis) and author Ian Rankin.
Placebo – Placebo RE:CREATED
For its 30th anniversary, their self-titled debut it has been revisited and, as the title says, re:created by the band. ‘Nancy Boy’ is still a banger of a tune.
