Up for release on 18th September we have a crop including new albums from Keith Richards and Soundgarden’s Chris Cornell, plus a re-release of the legendary live performance by Rory Gallagher’s Taste at the 1970 Isle of Wight Festival. David Gilmour has come up with a new one with lyrics from Polly Sampson which is being released across all formats – about the only format he hasn’t used is tape! The very definition of a metal super-group, Metal Allegiance, have released a noisy debut. Also spare some ear space for Roseau, a debut effort that defies genre but deserves a listen. Plus let’s not forget Southampton’s very own Creeper with their debut 12″, The Callous Heart. The release of the week is the Dave Rawlings Machine, complete with the sainted Gillian Welch, and their second effort, Nashville Obsolete.
