Moulettes rolled into Romsey on Friday night to launch their fourth album, Preternatural – part of a 19-stop tour of indie record stores across the south of England in just 12 days.
The band stormed through a 45-minute set at a hot and happy Hundred Records, kicking off with ‘Behemooth’, which is fast becoming a live favourite, and concluding seven songs later with the beautiful ‘Patterns’.
Hannah, Raevannan, Ruth, Ollie and Jim mingled afterwards with those in attendance and signed copies of the new album.
Preternatural looks likely to make its début in the UK Top Forty this week – a great achievement for a band that prides itself on its independence.
