Having recently had some fruitful conversations with some of our regulars, we have all agreed that we need some sort of community gathering maybe once a month. This is now about to happen!
The first one will take place next Friday 4th July, and it is going to be a sort of listening party style gathering but based around a theme as opposed to just one album. ‘What theme?’ I hear absolutely no one ask. Well, being the 4th of July, the theme will be ‘The United States of America’. Now this could be interesting. It doesn’t have to be an American album, just something with some connection with the USA. So, bring along an idea and I’ll stream the album/songs, unless you want to bring an LP to be played. Bring a beverage, we will get pizza and we’ll have a listen, a chat, a laugh, take turns on the sofa, that sort of thing.
Start time is 6pm (though I will already be here, so any time really!) and will go on as long as you want or until someone drags out something by John Denver.
