17 June<\/strong> sees the release of what founder Michael Gira says will be the last (sob) Swans<\/strong> album, The Glowing Man<\/em><\/strong>, which contains all the epicness (if that\u2019s a word) we have become accustomed to. We also get the remix version of Public Service Broadcasting<\/strong>\u2019s monumentally successful The Race For Space<\/em><\/strong>, available here on indies only orange vinyl if that\u2019s your thing. On The Dreaming Room<\/em><\/strong>, Laura Mvula<\/strong> manages the unlikely combination of being fearless, meditative, soulful and buoyant all at once. The Low Anthem<\/strong> return after a five-year gap with the brilliant Eyeland<\/em><\/strong>, which is multi-dimensional Americana and all the better for it. Both Jake Bugg<\/strong> and Red Hot Chili Peppers<\/strong> provide more of what we love on their new albums On My One<\/em><\/strong> and The Getaway<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Album of the week is, however, the wonderful self-titled album from Neko Case, k.d. lang and Laura Veirs<\/strong>. When three songwriters of such pedigree get together to produce an album, we should all take notice.<\/p>\n
