There are some great releases coming out on 26 February<\/strong>. First, Emitt Rhodes<\/strong> returns with his first album for 40 years, and its a triumph! Look him up if you’re not familiar with his story. Bonnie Raitt<\/strong> releases Dig In Deep<\/em><\/strong>, which is a gutsy blues-rock follow-up to her Grammy-winning Slipstream<\/em>, noisy Australian hard rockers Hands Like Houses<\/strong> offer up Dissonants<\/em><\/strong>, thrash legends Anthrax<\/strong> release For All Kings<\/em><\/strong> and, completing a triumvirate of the heavy stuff this week, Magnum<\/strong> offer the dynamic Sacred Blood “Divine” Lies<\/em><\/strong>. If you like a bit of blues rock, Supersonic Blues Machine<\/strong>’s West of Flushing, South of Frisco<\/em><\/strong> is for you; it features a truly stellar cast list of guitar greats. Mancunian alt-rockers The 1975<\/strong> follow up their self-titled platinum seller with I Like It When You Sleep, For You Are So Beautiful Yet Unaware Of It<\/em><\/strong>, an early contender for longest title of the year! Album of the week is Steve Mason<\/strong>’s Meet the Humans<\/em><\/strong>, which is chock full of love, hope and joy, and you can’t get a better recommendation than that.\n<\/p>\n
