The result feels immediate, heartfelt and timeless and is a powerful reminder of the versatility that has earned Jacob seven Grammys across various genres.<\/p>\n

Live from Glastonbury (A BBC Recording)<\/em><\/strong> encompasses Olivia Rodrigo<\/em><\/strong>\u2019s entire set from last year\u2019s festival \u2013 including tracks from her record-breaking albums Sour <\/em>and Guts<\/em>, as well as duets of \u2018Friday I\u2019m in Love\u2019 and \u2018Just Like Heaven\u2019 with the Cure\u2019s Robert Smith.<\/p>\n

Kill Them with Kindness<\/em><\/strong>, the 18th album from Beans on Toast<\/strong>, was recorded with The Beans on Toast Band, a collection of musical friends handpicked from the UK music scene a few years back. There are songs that deal with the current state of the world: wars, maniac leaders, the rise of AI and the fall of the establishment. Then there are songs about trees, late nights in music venues, art, love and Beans\u2019 new cat.<\/p>\n

Born from the raw, deafening sounds of basement jams and scrappy house shows, Leeds four-piece Fuzz Lightyear<\/strong> are consistently trying to be the loudest and fastest band around. Channelling the DIY ethos that birthed them, their focus remains on sustained experimentation, community and uninhibited rock\u2019n\u2019roll. New album Zero Guilt<\/em><\/strong> showcases their chaotic and impressive blend of shoegaze, industrial noise-rock and fast-paced punk.<\/p>\n

Khruangbin<\/strong> have re-recorded their beloved debut album, which has become a cult classic. The Universe Smiles upon You ii<\/em><\/strong> reinvents the familiar songs \u2013 some changed more than others \u2013 harnessing the lightning-in-a-bottle energy of TUSUY<\/em> while discovering what would be unique this time around, in this stage of the band\u2019s life. The result moves like ripples on the water across ten hypnotic tracks.<\/p>\n

Our release of the week is Memento Mori: Mexico City<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 over two hours of live recordings from Depeche Mode<\/strong>\u2019s three sold-out concerts at Mexico City\u2019s Foro Sol Stadium in September 2023, plus four previously unreleased studio recordings from the Memento Mori<\/em> sessions. The CD + Blu-ray bundle adds a video of the live shows and the new feature film \u2018Depeche Mode: M\u2019, filmed at the Foro Sol shows by award-winning Mexican filmmaker Fernando Fr\u00edas.<\/p>\n
