Although they didn\u2019t know what these songs would actually sound like, the band knew what they wanted them to feel like \u2013 and worked backwards from there. \u201c<em>We had this slightly tongue-in-cheek mantra at the near-beginning of writing this record, it was \u2013 The evolution will not be compromised.
