First, <strong>Blossoms<\/strong> return with their second album, <strong><em>Cool Like You<\/em><\/strong>, blissful pop that adds an anthemic rock quality to the band\u2019s \u201980s-inspired synth-layered sound. <strong>Van Morrison<\/strong> and jazz organ virtuoso <strong>Joey DeFrancesco<\/strong> showcase electrifying musical collaborations on <strong><em>You\u2019re Driving Me Crazy<\/em><\/strong>, combining fresh interpretations of blues and jazz standards with cuts from Van\u2019s songbook. <strong><em>Last Man Standing<\/em><\/strong>, released for <strong>Willie Nelson<\/strong>\u2019s 85th birthday, acknowledges the transience of time while marvelling at what the world has to offer, and finds Willie riding a creative peak. Welsh ragga-metal pioneers <strong>Skindred<\/strong> roar on their seventh album, <strong><em>Big Tings<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 a magnificent beast full of heavy, distortion-laden riff punches melding with frenzied rapping \u2013 big songs, big sound! And Brooklyn\u2019s <strong>We Are Scientists<\/strong> return with <strong><em>Megaplex<\/em><\/strong>, ten brand-new splashes of colourful and utterly addictive power-pop to serve as a welcome distraction in these bleak times.<\/p>\n<p>Our release of the week is <strong><em>In The Rainbow Rain<\/em><\/strong>, the most immediate album yet from <strong>Okkervil River<\/strong>.
