Kasabian<\/strong> have stuffed For Crying Out Loud<\/em><\/strong> full of hugely memorable tunes. Pollinator<\/em><\/strong> is Blondie<\/strong>\u2019s 11th studio album and is truly befitting of the legendary New York band. Big Bad Luv<\/em><\/strong> comes direct from the heart of John Moreland<\/strong>, a songwriter good enough to support Jason Isbell on tour \u2013 if you like Jason you will luv John! At The Drive In<\/strong> return after an epic pause of 15 years return with in\u2022ter a\u2022li\u2022a<\/em><\/strong>, an album that shivers with intensity. The Afghan Whigs<\/strong> cast a spell on In Spades<\/em><\/strong>, which challenges the listener to decode its spectral imagery and dark metaphors. In The Woods<\/em><\/strong> is both follow-up and companion piece to Hawkwind<\/strong>\u2019s concept album from last year, The Machine Stops<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Release of the week is Slowdive<\/strong>\u2019s new self-titled album, which manages to nod to their past magnificence without slavishly replicating it. It\u2019s more direct but still beautifully beguiling.<\/p>\n
