The band reunited in January this year and started to work with producer Jacob Bercovici, with whom they had worked on their debut EP, <em>Exquisite Corpse<\/em>. <em>Heads Up<\/em> was recorded in House On The Hill studio in downtown LA, their home studios and Papap\u2019s Palace. \u201c<em>The doors were a little more open in terms of what was accepted and what wasn\u2019t, because we were sharing ideas so rapidly between us,<\/em>\u201d says the band drummer Stella Mozgawa of the recording process. \u201c<em>Everybody was allowed to have their space, time and creative freedom with songs and figure out, \u2018I wonder what the best notes would be? I wonder what the best would be to play?\u2019<\/em>\u201d adds bassist Jenny Lee Lindberg. \u201c<em>Everybody got to sit and go, \u2018What do I want to do to this? What\u2019s my part? What\u2019s My role?
