A reissue of their debut that includes an extra LP containing the legendary first attempt at the album all those years ago.
Dexys Midnight Runners Love
The first actual album under the DMR name since 1985. An album about something called ‘love’. Some songs were started 30 years ago, others last year.
President Blood of Your Empire
Another masked heavy band getting attention. I detected some autotune on the vocals. You know how this ends. Sleep Token comes to mind. Musically pretty good.
Immersion What Is Lost Will Return
Only one track available so far – good, though. Bit of electronica, bit of rock, hypnotic rhythms.
Talk Talk The Colour of Spring (40th Anniversary)
I know it’s another reissue but this one is a bit special – my favourite Talk Talk album, catching them as they move from the arty pop group to the art-rock band they became. You can hear the transition. A superb album, half-speed mastered.
